What lurks beneath
I'm hoping to try
surfing for the first time next week near Wakayama.
There are plenty of popular spots like Isonoura &
Gobo, but I'm still a little apprehensive to get out
of my depth. It's not that I'm a poor swimmer or
anything. It's just that JAWS changed my view of the
sea forever.
Cicada
The rainy season is
finally over and the heat really is on. The weather
has been in the mid thirties for the last week &
the bugs are out in full force. The cicada are up and
at it with the sun, kicking up one hell of a noise.
You've probably heard them buzzing as background
noise in any jungle movie scene. There are a few
varieties of cicada, but here's one for your
thoughts.
